Meet Our Matcha Family 🍵💚

Meet Our Matcha Family 🍵💚

Melissa da Costa

Not all matcha is the same — and that’s a good thing.
Each grade has its own personality, strengths, and best uses. Meet the family and find the matcha that fits your routine.

Supreme Grade

The refined eldest sibling

Our Supreme Grade matcha is all about elegance and balance. With very low bitterness and a naturally smooth flavour, it’s ideal for those who enjoy matcha in its purest form.

Best for:

  • Traditional hot matcha
  • Unsweetened or gently sweetened drinks
  • Anyone seeking an elevated drinking experience

Because it’s so smooth, you’ll need far less sweetener — letting the natural flavour shine.

Superior Grade

The versatile middle sibling

Superior Grade offers a similarly low level of bitterness, making it incredibly flexible. It’s refined enough for mindful sipping, but forgiving enough for creative drinks.

Best for:

  • Hot or iced matcha
  • Light lattes with minimal sweetener
  • Everyday elevated matcha moments

While it can be used for flavoured lattes, keep in mind that milk and syrups will mask its more nuanced flavour profile.

🌿 Premium Grade

The dependable everyday favourite

Premium Grade is your well-balanced, no-fuss matcha. It’s smooth, versatile, and more economical,  perfect for daily rituals.

Best for:

  • Daily hot or iced matcha
  • Flavoured matcha lattes
  • Casual drinkers who want quality without overthinking

This is the go-to for anyone who wants a reliable, enjoyable cup every day.

🍃 Classic Grade

The creative, bold one

Bold, earthy, and robust, Classic Grade is designed to hold its own when mixed with other ingredients.

Best for:

  • Baking
  • Smoothies
  • Fusion drinks
  • Matcha desserts

It’s cost-effective while still delivering great colour and aroma, ideal when matcha isn’t the main star, but still needs to show up.

How to choose your matcha 💭

  • Drinking it straight? → Supreme or Superior
  • Daily lattes or iced drinks? → Premium
  • Baking or blending? → Classic

Still unsure? Start with how you plan to use it, not the name of the grade.

Remember to add a matcha set to your cart so you have all the equipment you need to make your matcha in the comfort of your home!
