Instead of a normal birth, Nezha emerged from a lotus flower, already possessing great power.

His most famous myth involves him accidentally killing Ao Bing (敖丙), the son of the Dragon King, which led to chaos between the heavens and the sea. To take responsibility for his actions, Nezha sacrificed himself—but was later reborn from a lotus flower, making him even stronger than before.
