These exceptional plums are carefully steeped using only sugar and spirit, then aged for over a year to develop a rich, full-bodied flavor. Known for their soft, juicy flesh, the plums impart a deep aroma and bold, vibrant acidity to the final brew. This refined umeshu was honored with a Gold Award at the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, a testament to its outstanding quality and craftsmanship.

I am very happy I could buy this specific Umeshu. I drank it quite a lot when I was in Japan but due to weight constrains, I had to bring back a smaller bottle. Will definitely buy this again and also try the other Umeshu's available.
