It was fine, just not my fav. It tasted good incorporated into other things, but I didn't find myself treating it as a straight snack item the way I have with other brands. Unfortunately, I don't have enough experience with kimchi to put my finger on exactly what didn't work for me, but it was definitely just an issue of what my taste buds prefer.

Hi D.P., we really appreciate your honest feedback on the Chunyu Palace Kimchi. It is great to hear that it worked well as an ingredient in your cooking, even if it was not your favorite for snacking. Kimchi flavors can vary quite a bit between brands, and we are happy to help you explore our other options to find the specific taste profile you prefer.

Way too

Way too salty

Hi Rangwetsi, thank you for sharing your thoughts! If you find the Chunyu Palace Kimchi a bit too salty, you can rinse it lightly with cold water before eating — it helps tone down the saltiness without losing the flavor. Another great way to enjoy saltier kimchi is to use it in cooked dishes like kimchi fried rice, stews, or pancakes, where the seasoning blends beautifully with rice or broth.
