Lovely product

Love the flavour of this miso paste, which comes at a great price.

Glad to hear you're enjoying the miso paste! This variety, enriched with dashi, brings deep umami flavor to soups, marinades, and more. A great choice for both traditional and creative dishes!

I would like to make miso soup and understand that one of the ingredients is dashi/ vegetable stock (in addition to miso paste). So the description of this item mentions both miso and dashi, does that mean I don't have to add dashi to the recipe?

HelloAsia!

This product contains Bonito Extract, which provides a natural umami flavor. If you find it flavorful enough, you can skip adding dashi. However, you can always add more dashi to enhance the taste to your preference.
