Kong Yen is a Taiwanese rice vinegar that has been produced since 1984. Rice vinegar is made from fermented rice and is slightly milder than most Western vinegars. Rice vinegar is most commonly used for making sushi rice and many Asian salads and dishes.

I would recommend buying sushi vinegar over regular rice vinegar anyday! The sushi vinegar is perfectly seasoned with salt and sugar, which avoids you having to balance those flavours in your dishes! This was a great purchase!

If this sushi vinegar has no more fans, I am dead. This is the absolute best sushi vinegar on the market. It's so good that it took me a year to write this review because I don't want it being out of stock. I use it for absolutely everything, but especially for cold noodles. It's slightly acidic and mostly sweet. Absolute heaven. I especially love grating carrots with a little bit of this sushi vinegar and the less sodium soy sauce. Low calorie but so good that you'd eat enough for it to be considered high calorie.
