Though this is one of the more expensive products I purchased, it was far more affordable than one would expect from an imported product.
The chocolates from Meiji are of good quality, but the taste is a lot different from what we are used to here in SA. It is not as creamy and sweet as our chocolates. But it was filling and I've certainly had worse. I would not buy it again, but I do not regret my purchase. Just a taste thing, really. It was fresh, but I've noticed many (not all) of the Japanese sweet snacks are incredibly subdued in flavor. Almost like they used smaller measurements of each ingredient. Perhaps a cultural pallette preference.
