Well packed and an excellent sticky rice to eat

Thanks for the kind words! Good sticky rice is worth getting right, and a proper soak of a few hours before steaming makes all the difference to that soft, chewy texture. Lovely to hear the packaging held up well too.

Buy buy buy! Sticky rice is something that everyone in my family loves!! You can even grab a bamboo steamer from Hello Asia to make it perfectly on the stove. It is so tasty, it is hard to describe the taste, but even my picky eater son, asks for it weekly.

Love the enthusiasm here, Marcelle, thank you! You're spot on about the bamboo steamer, since sticky rice really does need soaking for a few hours and then steaming rather than boiling to get that signature chewy, slightly sweet texture. Winning over a picky eater to the point of weekly requests is no small feat, so clearly your family has the method down. Enjoy the next batch!
